T-ball, Baseball and Softball registration has started and continues until February 16.  After February 16, a late fee will be charge – so signup soon.

Most people think that Winter is a time to relax for Soccer at FYAA.  Not so, behind the scenes, volunteers are working hard to make sure everything runs smooth for the first day of Soccer that starts in March.  Volunteers have signed up over 350 players, prepared the coaches bags for over 35 teams, assembled coaches notebooks and First Aid Kits.  The coaches bags consist of cones, balls, pennies, goalie gloves and goalie shirts.  FYAA would like to say thanks to Forest Elementary School Girl Scout Troop 741 for putting together all of the coaches bags and checking out and refilling our First Aid Kits.  Over 60 First Aid kits were checked out for both the Soccer and Baseball programs.  Thanks go to (Dana Bryant, Lauren Stratton, Mihika Cordimas, Deena Alzaben, Mrs. Stratton and Dr. Cordimas) of Troop 741 for all of their help.

Our new website is on-line thanks to our Web Site Manager-Sam La Martina.  Sam has graciously volunteered his services to help FYAA to better reach the members of the Forest Community.  Sam is a member of Boy Scout Troop 10 that meets on Tuesday evening’s at 7:00 at Heritage Methodist Church on Leesville Rd. in Lynchburg .  This project helped Sam receive his Star Award!!  Great Job and thanks Sam for helping us out!!!!!

Soccer and Lacrosse signups have been a huge success with the last day of regular registration ending on Saturday, January 19.  If you haven’t signup, we are still accepting applications for both sports until February 16.  A late fee of $15.00 will be charged totaling $85.00.  Soccer team will be formed after February 16 and your coach will notify you around the last week of February.  Practice for U-10 through U-19 Soccer teams will start the first week of March!

For all of the sports, register on-line 24/7.  If new to FYAA, please bring your birth certificate or passport to the office for registration.
