FYAA offers youth sports for children ages 4 to 18 in Central Virginia. We primarily serve Forest and surrounding areas in Bedford County. Sports include basketball, baseball, softball, football, flag football, lacrosse, soccer, and tee ball.

Basketball Information

Basketball registration begins in Septbember.  

Age divisions are as follows:  

5/6 coed

7/8 coed

9-10 girls

9-10 boys

11-12 girls

11-12 boys

13-14 girls

13-14 boys

15-18 coed 

 

There will be an in person draft the second week of November.  

Practices begin in December. 

Games will begin the first week in January.

Practices and games will be held in Thomas Jefferson Elementary, New London Academy and Forest Elementary
