The last email sent about about camps for boys is an EC Glass fundraiser. It directly funds thier program. They are not friendly to Forest at any level. They have zero interest in Forest Lacrosse players improving. 

There are much better camps available that do not fund compeating programs.

Forest Lacrosse Families,

Incredible performances from all our teams yesterday at the end of the year tournament. Our 14U boys closed the deal and brought home a championship. Our 12U team played an incredible game against rvla and come up short in overtime. Our 10U kids are hustlers and never gave up and ended the day with a win. All of our teams did really well and represented who we are as an organization. 

Our signature Fall season registration is coming up and be on the look out for special summer opportunities as well. Our Fall season runs from the Wednesday after Labor Day through the week before Thanksgiving. We practice on Wednesdays and Sundays. This is an excellent time to bring a friend out to try it because its more instructional and developmental. 

May 22nd we will have an end of the year party for the boys and families at our house. 1701 Tabernacle Ln forest va 24551. This will be from 3-7 pm bring a bathing suit and helmets, gloves, and Sticks. The kids can play some back yard lacrosse eat some pizza and have fun! There will be a signup genius sent out to get a head count for the party. 

All loaner equipment is due by this date as well. No excuses. Do not keep equipment for any reason.

12u parents,

With the end of year tournament this weekend at William Byrd on Saturday (all the details I have) we have some work to do. So we will be practicing as normal and I would encourage as many as possible to come to the optionals on Tuesday and Thursday. I 100% relize other commitemnts and transport problems. But It was really nice have everyone at the game Saturday. The new guys this year receieved significant minutes at multiple positions. This is a great way for them to grow more quickly.  Stickwork is the number skill to focus on outside of practice. 

Shane Reynolds will be coaching the tournament on Saturday. I m sorry I will not be there but I have a much needed getaway planned for this weekend as every other prior year the tournament has been the weekend before memorial day and no one let me know that this change had been in discussion for weeks. 

As I receive more details about the tournament such as game times and expectations I will forward. Simple expectation for end of year tournament is plan on being there from 8 am through 4pm at champiosnship game. This team should be playing for a championship. But this is not to be told to the boys. They need to see it as they have something to prove. 

All equipment means all equipment. Your Child is not allowed to practice or play with being 100% equipped. This includes mouthpieces and cups. This is for their own protection, The lack of mouthpiece is also a penalty. This is a non negotiable. Your coach assumes the liability before every game when the officials ask if every player is fully equipped. Which in essence means your coach will be sued for not doing his job if an injury occurs and the child is not properly equipped. USA Lacrosse Insurance will deny your claim if your child is injured. Make 100% sure your child is fully equipped for every practice and game
